Your account and security

Use Settings to review your sign-in account and protect access to it. Your account profile, employee record and workspace permissions describe different things; checking the right one makes it easier to resolve missing information.

Access needed

Access depends on your assigned permissions and workflow scope.

Read your own account, permissions, security, sessions and workspace features

Authenticated self-service for your own account; no user-administration permission is required. Employment records and module workflows retain their own access requirements.

Role and permission labels

Typical responsibility: Signed-in account holder. Role names alone do not grant access.

Change your own password, manage MFA or end your own sessions

Own-account security checks, verification and workspace MFA requirements apply. This does not grant control over another user or workspace-wide authentication.

Typical responsibility: Signed-in account holder. Role names alone do not grant access.

Demo screenshots may show broader access than your account.

Review your account profile

Open Settings → Profile. Check your display name, email, workspace and employee link under Account details. Review Assigned roles and the Permissions tab to understand the access currently assigned to your account.

This profile is read-only. Contact your workspace administrator to update account details or the employee link. Your employment information is a separate record; account details do not replace your job, compensation or personal-information workflows.

The screenshot uses a demo administrator account linked to a fictional employee. It demonstrates the account page, not the permissions every employee receives.

Change your own password

Open Settings → Security. Enter your Current password, New password and Confirm new password, then review and select Change password. Use at least 12 characters with uppercase, lowercase, a number, a symbol and at least four distinct characters.

See Sign in and account access for password recovery. Password changes were not performed during this documentation review.

Set up multi-factor authentication

On Security, review the Multi-factor authentication status. If setup is available, use Set up authenticator and follow the enrollment prompts with your authenticator app. Verify setup with its six-digit code, then securely store the recovery codes supplied after confirmation.

A workspace can require MFA. Disabling MFA is refused while it is required, and disabling it ends all sessions. Replacing recovery codes invalidates the previous set. Ask your authorized administrator for help if you lose access; changing workspace-wide MFA requirements is a separate administrative operation.

The screenshot shows the setup entry point only. Enrollment, recovery-code replacement and MFA removal were not exercised in this review.

Review your signed-in sessions

Open Settings → Active Sessions. Locate Current session, then expand a session to inspect its available application, timing and device information before deciding whether to end it.

Review signed-in sessions
Demo account view; your roles and workspace configuration may differ.
  1. Identify the session

Compare the session details with devices and sign-ins you recognize. More than one session can belong to the same application.

  2. Choose the intended scope

Use End session for a particular entry. End other sessions preserves the current session and ends your other sessions. Ending the current session can require you to sign in again.

  3. Confirm and check the result

Review any confirmation, complete the intended action and recheck the list. If a session is unfamiliar, follow your organization's security reporting process.

Understand workspace feature access

Open Settings → Workspace access to review the reported plan, features and limits. Refresh features reloads this information; it does not buy a plan or grant permissions.

Check workspace features

An included feature still needs the relevant account permissions, setup and workflow eligibility. A feature appearing here does not establish that every interface is complete or available to your account. Ask your administrator about missing features or unreported limits. Shift scheduling availability is not reported on this screen.

Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to check
Account details cannot be editedThe profile is read-only; ask your workspace administrator.
A role name looks right but a task is unavailableInspect effective permissions and the task's Access needed section.
Password change failsCheck the current password, confirmation and displayed password requirements.
MFA setup is incompleteFinish code verification; opening setup alone does not enable MFA.
A session remains usable elsewhere after ending itAllow for the documented access-expiry window of up to 15 minutes.
A feature is included but unavailableCheck permissions, employee link, setup and feature implementation status.

What was verified

The live Profile, Security, Active Sessions and Workspace access pages were inspected in light theme. No password, authenticator, recovery code or session was changed. These screens were viewed through an administrator's own account; restricted employee access was not tested.
